Mixed feelings!
Seriously.
Husband dah pening.
saya pun dah pening.
dah pindahkan satu rumah dan barang2 yg sangat banyak nih~~
please hospital, tolong pindahkan our stuff masuk kontena,
we just realized we have a whole lot to bring with us.
owh my gosh,
seriesly pening!
The cost tu lagila, satu rumah nak pindah ke Pahang naik kapal.
i cant imagine the numbers!

One more problem.
Encik Lebah dan saya now are the MOs of Emergency and Trauma~~
We like this job, thinking of doing Emergency Medicine~~
but!
we just heard from Pahang, that this department already too full!!
huwaaaa...only left Paediatric!
I dont think i can do Paediatric~~ in Hospital Kuantan pulak tu~~
owh my, husband also cannot imagine doing Paediatric~~
We will be tagging forever, not seeing each other, the life will be much hectic than now~~
Seriesly pening!

MO Pediatric? seriesla macam tak sesuai~~ dan tersangat susahhhh huhuhu

If tak dapat buat pediatric, other choices tinggal district hospital, but also terpisah, sorg kat district ni, sorg kat district lain~~
seriesly jauh okay~~
lagilah tak jumpa each other.
dengan oncall nyer.

Husband dan saya dah berfikir 2minggu lebih dah ni, we only left with another 2weeks of Sibu, then after that, akan terscattered dekat Pahang.
it will be tough.
no time for bergembira weekend ke ape ke, busy tagging la oncall la.
sama macam dok dekat Sibu jer,
Sibu lagi gembira bersama eh,
huwaaaaaaa~~ saya tidak mahu pegi Pediatric....=( =(

okayla cerita tu, 5/10 la saya bagik hihi,bukan saya tengok sangat cerita tu pun, hihi tgk Encik Lebah kat sebelah tu ngantuk hihi~~
dah la tengok pukul 11 malam!
Pastu, balik rumah.
Encik Lebah tanya saya~~
Anna nak jadi specialist ape?
Hmm.
Saya terdiam.
mmm..soalan susah tu abang.

Saya series taktahu nak jadi ape.
Sekarang dua dua MO A&E, tengok patients trauma everyday..
saya suka.
Encik Lebah pun suka.
tapi,
sanggup ke nak belaja 4years nih, at least.
tak sure lagi if fail ke ape ke,
if saya beranak ke.
mmmmm..tough decision.

Saya tanya dia balik.
Encik Monster, awak nak jadi specialist ape?
dia pun lama fikir.
hihi.
tapi yang pastinya dah rule out, Medical.. tak sanggup berfikir setiap minit.
Dah rule out Surgery..tak sanggup tido tak lena malam2 kene bangun pegi buat surgery..
Dah rule out Obstetric and Gynae..tak sanggup stress terlampau bersama org2 yg stress manage mother2 yg stress..!
Dah rule out Ortho..tak sanggup asik kene Xray jer, dalam OT bertukang!
Dah rule out Paeds, tak cukup dedicated untuk selamatkan baby baby yg sangat banyak~~

so we left with few choices..
4years.
if lucky.
Darling. we will be the best we can okay~~
Nanti Anna fikir betul2 nak buat ape nih~~
Kadang2 terfikir jugak nak masuk Forensic Medicine jer~~
Deal with dead people..
How bout that.
What gives?

Guess what!
Finally!
Got my 'P' license, everyone!
hahahahha..i was so behind!!
Anyway, feels like wanna paint this town red!!
Alhamdulillah~~ after few weeks of driving my husband crazy with my hectic driving lessons schedule, and my never-ending palpitations about driving test, until husband also cannot sleep watching me wide awake the whole night thinking about passing the JPJ test!
hahahahhaha, thank you hubby for putting up with me~~
i now have the P, yayyy!!
Last night hubby celebrate my accomplishment hahhaaha with frens! had sushi and Hong Kong Ghost Stories after that!
Bought me a pretty checkered top in purple~~ sweet darling thank you! hihi
now im thinking of this~~~

Hey pretty shark~~ can i drive you? hihihi
cannot la, sayang la, my driving skill not yet cemerlang!
tunggu yeah~~ mummy will get youu! hihihi

hahahahaha~~ hari2 saya kene jadi driver hubby lah,
macam ade jpj tester kat sebelah!
garang tau!
Dia cakap.."okay, dah dapat lesen, sekarang belaja berenang pulak!)
owh my gosh!
husband saya nak saya ade semua life skill ker~~ adoi!

My life as a medical officer with husband at work~~ it was awesome!!
and of course, tiring~~
We'll be staying in Sibu only until December, kind of sad to leave this place~~
it was the town, where me and hubby built our relationship, married and lived together from scratch, got all our collection here~~
our joy and happiness, our great team at work, greatest boss in emergency ( i have to tell you he is the most awesome!), inspire me and hubby~~ thinking of becoming emergency physician! hahahaha, its not easy yeah people~~

Sometimes,
when i think about it..
we are actually haunted with decisions~
good decision, bad decision, people live, people died~~
CPR patients with husband,and the team, and kadang2 dah tak rasa ape ape...
sometimes i'll be like.."do you wanna stay or you wanna go mister~~"
when you think like..this man is someone's father. someone's wife, someone's son, somebody important..this man has his story and past~~
You'll have the urge to do everything you can..everything you possibly can think of~~ which has lots of limitation.
and fate.
can never be denied.
Life and death. Trauma and emergency department.
Sometimes, i feel like, its a little too much for me.
Too heavy.
But i have to go on.
For our people. =)
My principle is easy, treat your patients just like you wanted people to treat your own family.

Moving back to semenanjung.
cannot imagine how its gonna be like in new place.
Busier. i bet.
But, we will be there, with bells on!
i miss my families, the pasar malam, the food, the town, the road, the warmth feeling, the shops! yes the shops! hahahaha~~ this is the only part of my job that i like the most hihi
Just imagine working in Cameron Highlands~~with the tea, flowers and cool breeze~~
wow, can i just enjoy my day with hubby? hihi
is that possible??

I should get started with our wardrobe.
it'll take me weeks to put our 2years in luggage and boxes, i reckon!
But we shall say,
We will be leaving Sibu feeling that the world was our oyster!
Had our great fun here.
Will never be forgotten. =)

p.s Husband dah nak balik from morning shift. Lets prepare my chicken paprik on the table shall we!

Day off today was fun.
9am went to driving school, made it thru without kereta viva saya terbatuk2, or jatuh bukit..hihi insyalllah pass 24th October ni test JPJ. Hopefully.
Bila fikir fikir balik, mmm sayang pulak kalau saya beli kereta vios nanti tak pandai bawak kang. calar pulak mulut shark comel itu...
hmmmm second thought, saya bawak kereta encik lebah je lah~!
Ataupun beli kancil second ke viva second ke...
untuk saya bermain2 bawak kereta pegi keje je hhehehhehe..
tak sanggup tengok shark comel calar2 kerana skill parking saya yg tak berapa nak pass lagi nih!
Pastu tengok "The Three Musketeers" and "Fright Night" dekat wayang with hubby!
owh saya suka~~
Saya masih bercinta seperti 5thn lepas bersama Encik Lebah~~
buat saya rindu awak pulak ni hehhehee..

A lot of thinking lately.
Where are we gonna be transferred?
Pahang? Perak?
Malacca?
and eyeing houses..
(yelah dekat sarawak tak boleh beli rumah, huhu org sarawak je boleh beli!)
tapi nak beli rumah pun kene fikir jugak, kat mana saya dan encik lebah nak settle down nih~~
takut nanti kene transfer lagik!
If dapat Cameron Highlands then, we think its a good place la..

Sebelum tu boleh berangan dulu kan..

macam abah kata, berangan dulu baru berusaha dapatkan, bile dah tau ape kita nak~~

Baked mussels with cheese.
The best dish ive had..!
Simple to make also, and simply delicioussssss!!!

Simply flavour with salt pepper and onion..
Baked for 15minutes till the cheese melted..then yummy yum!
Thank you Nuha for reminding me of this incredible super tasty baked musselss...ergh saya cravingg!!

4days working after my 14days being a housewife at home!
Not nice, not nice at all!
First day,redzone attacking us non-stop for 7hours!!
Second day,it was more like a war in redzone!
People shouting, people losing blood, people in SVT,sepsis, intraabdominal injury, people who were so drunk and went crazy! I just could not stand the backache, the muscle pain ive got, entertaining all these people, who simply cannot grasp the idea of DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!!!!

Anyway, just forget the hospital. Please.
Seriously cannot.
Owh man, ive had nightmares about patients.
Ive had bad dreams about mortuary.
Post mortem.
Dead people.
Sick people.
Sometimes i cannot even sleep, because i was too tired to sleep.
Husband also having knee pain, backpain, ankle pain..
this is not normal..!
Okay just try to forget hospital again.
Please.

Today,belaja kereta with pakcik again..before going for pm shift.
Pakcik cakap, "kamu dah boleh test ni 24hb ni!"
Owh my god!
Saya takutttttt!!!
Macamana kalau saya tibe tibe panic attack, and then tak dapat turun bukit dengan berjayanya?! owh no, cannot cannot cannot..please Vios, come to mummyyy!!

Day 9 of housewife life...=(

Hari ni dah belaja parking and bukit. pakcik tu kata "bagus bagus, lagi seminggu dua boleh test ni!"..tibe tibe takut plak, kang fail cane? hahhahaha kene gelak dengan encik lebah je nanti tau!

saya tidak ter reverse ke belakang lagi ehhehehe..good job Anna!

Day 9 of life as housewife, ade progress..
dah boleh bawak kereta dengan gembira, parking tu kire pass la sikit2 hahahhaha, cuma cuak sometimes kete banyak,terus kene tuka driver hehehhee..
Still sticking to our healthy lifestyle plan, berjaya exercise at least 20-30minutes per day..lets see if i can still do it after 1st October (the day my cuti abess huwaaa tanak keje!)

Sejak sejak cuti ni, i can imagine, how nice to be at home...
do cooking, washing and just be a normal wife.
Ye, saya wife yg tidak normal.
husband saya tidak jumpa saya sometimes 3hari..(because of hectic working hours!)
saya tidak dapat prepare breakfast macam wife wife lain, sebab postcall husband saya sudah pegi keje, baru saya balik...huhuhu
tapi husband saya sangat best! dia suka benda random..like...makan famous amos di tengah malam hahhahaa...kluar tengok wayang dengan saya midnight movie walaupun esok kene keje pagi, main badminton sebelum pegi on night?!
He just dont like the typical normal routine.
now thats good!!! heheheheheheh...

Working for 2years, i started to realize..something.
i feel like im not like the others.
we are not like the others..who are so passionate about hospital..
i think i just care about people..
more about them...as general..
i just cannot take the hospital anymore..its too depressing for me...
i dont wanna just suddenly woke up one day, and realized, i spent entire life being in hospital and not seeing the world..(symptoms symptoms org cuti lama!)
But YES.
i need to live my life with hubby to the fullest..=)
to actually have a proper breakfast, dinner and lunch with hubby and our family..=)
to actually go for holidayyyyy and travel!!
to see the sunshineeeeeeee!!!
NEED TO GET OUTTTTTT!

I knew i had it in me.
Im more into the getting to know people, talk to people..and prevention and stuff..
Primary care? Public health? Psychiatric?
confuse confuseeeee..

Medical- terlalu letih, penat, pening, ramai..and if i become physician,ill be doing a lot of thinking, seriously..a lot!
You know they say, you'll age three times faster! hahhhahaha..just a thought..

Surgical? people say you can be trained.
yes. but to wake up in the middle of the night to do a craniotomy...mmmmmmmm....i guess tak dapat tidur dengan aman pun, asyik terfikir oncall oncall oncalll...
for how long??! cannot take it...im not that strong.

O&G? this is the field that me and hubby are interested in.
but this is not easy. nothing is easy.
this field requires passion and time.
yes. time.
if you can work under stressful environment, dapat tahan semua pancaroba di labour room and OT, mungkin anda boleh jadi O&G specialist.!
semuanya in emergency!
save both lifes! wallaweh~~~

Emergency physician,
YES. Ini sangat macho!
we also consider this field...
jadik MO A&E dulu and see how eh...but definitely this is one of the macho' est field if you want to join!

Did you know that aiyoo i forgot, is it amsterdam? that people there work only 35hours per week, and have the rest for their family and holiday and other things than working?
Family feast, family gathering, kiddies playing with parents and grannies..
how nice is that..
thats what we called a life..=)
But if you quit working, thats another story.
You'll loose your role, and later in life, a lot of them will have identitiy crisis.
Takdela saya nak quit kan, hhhehehe walaupun gembira bercuti nih!
I love being a doctor! hihi

Anyhow,
I pray, hubby and me will be transferred to semenanjung in few months from now.
i just need to be closer to home..
i missed a lot in two years!
I wanna go back home..!
back to where we belong~~ insyaallah =) =)

10 hari menjadi housewife!

today day 5 of full time housewife.
everyday bangunkan hubby, iron baju hubby, carik stokin hubby hihi, bagi hubby makan breakfast, lunch and dinner..
exercise hari2 dengan encik lebah..naik exercise sort of bike by Gintell hahahha baru beli je ni! selepas rasa diri sangat tak terurus and so not healthy!
yelah, emergency MO, makan pun emergency, tido pun emergency, tak terurus langsong!

Welcome to the real life of doctors!
(masa kecik kecik saya ingat keje doktor ni dok kat meja, sign sign, jumpa patients sikit2 je! sekali tu doktor yg senior gile gile okayyyyy hahahha or doktor yg dok dekat klinik kesihatan, uish tertipuuu!!)
now dah 2thn lebih keje, rasa macam owh my god, its getting harder and harder!
busier and busier!
especially in Sarawak, where doctors are sooooo sikittttt and the patientsss are sooooooooo manyyyyyy!!!

Anyway, we decided to exercise well and choose Gintell. we think its a good investment in health. hahaha rasa macam tak bagus plak nasihat org tapi diri sendiri tak exercise!
cannot people cannot!

Jadi housewife, now i know that its very important to take care of what your loved ones eat!
Loving your loved one doesnt mean you need to stuffed them with food till they cant barely breathe.
Makan untuk hidup, bukan hidup segalanya untuk makan!
So encik Lebah and Anna trying our best to eat healthy!
Stay focus stay focus!
Not too sweet not too saltyyyy not tooo oilyyy pleaseeeeee

Owh ye, sekarang saya tengah belaja driving~~!
hahhaha org lain semua dah bertahun tahun, saya baru nak continue driving lesson...
kepada remaja remaja, jangan contohi saya, amik lesen awal yer!
masa saya ambik first time, before jadik houseman, saya telah diganggu oleh pakcik ajar lesen di kelantan yer, so disgusting..jadik my dad telah menyelamatkan saya dari pakcik lesen yg sungguh inappropriate ini dengan berhenti belaja je la hahahaha, dia ajar sendiri kat rumah~~
so boleh je bawak kete, cuma takde license! aiyooo
and now i realize, i really need the license, im gonna have to drive around now,pegi sana sini..
belum pass license dah fikir pasal kete hehehehehehehhe..the best part!

Vios Desire?! saya suka kereta ini, muka dia macam shark comel..berenang renang on the road.owh so cute! i want it medium silver..aummm hihi

The Dress I Marry You in..~~

I woke up this morning..i made hot cup of tea for husband..and there, he went for work.
My shift will start at 3pm and ends at 10pm.
Today he's oncall.Meaning im sleeping in hospital tonite!
Manja eh, oncall kene teman hihihi!

Bile Encik Lebah takde..saya akan bukak closet hihii and try baju baju saya hihihi..(if only he knows hihi mesti dia akan tak faham hobby saya nih!)
then i saw my dress..the dress i marry you in..hihi..
my wedding dress..my pearly detailed wedding dress..
hanging in the closet...
Looking so inviting! hihihi..
i tried it on!
yes i can still fit in hahhahahahha!
but yes..i can see im chubbier now...erghhhhh..i need to get my body back pleaseeeee!!

that day that i feel so pretty hihihi..walaupun sgt chubbyyy!!

But still..i love the dress so much~~ it was so me..
They say when you know its your wedding dress, when you look at it, or you tried it on, you designed it..and you have the right feeling that its the one!
Thats when i know, its mine..hihi =)
Thank you to Chanteq Boutique who made my dress customized for me..in just less that 1month plus, berjaya siapkan just like i wanted..hihi..
and i will take a good care of it..so that later when i grow old with encik lebah..i can tell our kids..hihi miow miow.."this is the dress..i marry your father in...hhhehhehe"

the second dress we sketched on piece of paper, and came to life a month later..with gold beading, and flowy finish, i thought they cannot make the dress as we sketched and i might not like it,but turn out, i just love the piece!
I just smile when i see both pieces in my closet..it reminds me of the big day..

We have all the spices in our kitchen..but here in Malaysia, it becomes so expensiveeeeeee!!
I miss baby carrots, i miss capsicummmm, leek and purple lettuce!!!

im gonna make..daging masak cajun with black pepper today~~ mmm..
that sure is spicy!

To my hubby,
I wish i could cook lots of other things for you to eat..
but i need to find time!
Working in ED, really hectic, kesian encik lebah..sometimes makan burger with me hihihi...
But its fun..hihi awak sgt random!
makan megi depan TV with me..seriesly buat saya tersenyum saje!

Baru saya tahu,encik lebah ni lipat baju cantik..hihi pastu tapi suka letak baju atas katil, nnt saya kene gantung gantungkan..
pastu dia suka usik2 saya.."ni bukan najib ni, ni org lain" hahahaha menjerit2 la saya kat rumah!
uish uish..
pastu kalau pegi shopping, mesti provoke2 saya suro beli!
owh no! saya shopaholics okay...kalau awak provoke, saya lagilaaa nak beliiii hhahhahahaha
Anyway, saya kene pegi keje nih, jumpa encik lebah malam ini!

My life in Sarawak...in Sibu i mean,..i would say sweet..=)
Today me and encik lebah, officially married for 11months hihi..counting for our first anniversary, 12th June =)
time flies so fast while we are having fun!

I would certainly remember this forever...mmm miow miow hihihi
you kissed me in public hihihi

The best was, honeymoon in London and Paris! that was awesomeeee...=) =)
Dah lama we dreamt of going there..to go for a honeymoon, it was a blast!
I rated Paris as 20 out of 10! hhihi

anyway, as nobody from semenanjung nak dtg here, so we still cannot get transferred back to semenanjung..mmmmm..if only our country memang betul2 1 Malaysia, baru la pegi Sarawak pun nobody will mind..macam pegi melaka, pegi johor...i want to see that in the future..=) hopeful sigh~~

I just noticed that my blog has been abandoned for a year and a half? Mm where was i? Oh yeah of course, that was the time when i started my housemanship!!! It makes me forget who i was, what i love to do! My travel, my camera, my blog, my history channel!!! Of all, im still with my man~~ wink wink. We've shared incredible times together, so much adventure since 2010! A lot has happened!

I was engaged to Encik Lebah - 3th April 2010!

Then married to him on 12th June 2010!

and reception on 13th&19th June 2010!

and jadik wife kepada encik monster!
and being honeymooning since then!

our first Hari Raya together! head of department bagik cuti extra kepada newlyweds ini untuk balik semenanjung for 4days!!
We had a crazy journey!
Sibu-LCCT- 7hours drive back to Kelantan- sampai malam raya- esok raya- then balik Sabak Bernam for raya- then balik sibu on second raya day!
Gile, tapi worth it!! FUN!!!

Pegi mana mana mesti dpt diskaun newlyweds hihi lucky sungguh! walaupun dah berbulan bulan kawen pun org asik tanya..mm newlyweds?! kitorg pun angguk je la, hehehhe newlyweds apeee hihi

Arrived in Sibu, on 24th Sept after 1hour and 50minutes MAS flight..
Officially, a doctor today..
A lot of things echoing in my mind..
Nervous, excited, overwhelmed..panic..all mixed up..
But im with Encik Lebah now..he will be here..with me..insyaallah..
From Sibu airport to Hospital Sibu took us about 10minutes..greeted by a very friendly taxi driver~~ now that was a good start..=)
Fresh air, lots of trees...cant see many tall buildings here..
aish..kereta pun tak nampak nih!
Sampai kat Hospital Sibu..cantik..tenang je..
not so many people..quite new..and people smiled to me..now that was another good sign..=)

Lapor diri dkt office..org2 semua tgk je..mm pelik kah saya? hihi tapi senyum je diorg..owh please please, bagila semua org friendly and kind kat sini, nak tolong saya yg slow bekerja nih~!
Pengarah Hospital welcomed me to the Hospital..and placed me in Pediatric for my 4months posting~~ erk and he said this posting is a strict posting, so i have to really concentrate..whoa..Anna..think positive please~!
Anyway, everything was great..i got a new rumah aka bilik sendiri with fridge bla2 and huge built in wardrobe, nice bed, desks and a decent bathroom..now im happy =)
Dalam hati, teringat kegembiraan raya tak abes lagi hihi..alhamdulillah dapat beraya this year..raya first in Malaysia after 6 years...it was priceless..=) =)
Semoga panjang umur murah rezeki, dapat beraya with family lagi next year..

Still in my induction programme in PD.
5days went by too fast!
The closer i get to become a real doctor..
During this induction course, i am alone, representing Otago Uni of New Zealand..
thank god i met Ainaa,my current housemate in PD, she is way so cool to be friends with! hehhehhe...Ainaa..jgn kembang plak baca ni nnt you kat HKL!
Anyway, i learnt a lot.
Although sedeh jgk tgk org bising2, tido and all..wah berjaya saya tidak tidor!
i think, i should do a checklist before i become a TRUE houseman this time!

1. Do not ever ever ever become a person that i dont ever wanna be, a sombong and belagak houseman! We are nothing compares to the specialists~~! Control jiwa yer hihi

2. Do not ever ever ever memandang rendah to all the nurses, and other kakitangan hospital yg membantu you~~ these are all important people yeahh!

3. Do not ever forget your family and your loved one...being a doctor is not a halangan for you to be sweet and loving..miow miow =) =)

4. Do not ever boasting boasting in any cara pun, if you finally own things that you dream of like, a new car, new house etc. or make up MAC aaahahaha berangan lagi!

5. Do not ever forget promises that you made to your family or your loved one or your friends, because believe me, they remember your promises!!! YES they do!

6. Do not ever bermegah2 with your ability, since rasa macam da terer kan..remember, you just like a tiny semut di tepi beras la..

7. Think positive and take everything in front you as challenges..insyallah you'll be strong!

8. Know how to handle stresss...! I definitely need Retail Therapyyyy!!!

9. Believe in yourself, and have faith! Insyaallah Allah akan tolong kite anna..aminnn

10.Ingatlah..semua yg ade ini dari Allah..bukan hak milik kita...=) =) Bersyukur ..=)

Woke up at you-don’t-wanna-know-what-time hhhihihi, and I realized I do exactly the same thing everyday, use my hairbrush as my microphone and start singing like a frog, hopefully no one would hear hhahhaha! Funnily, I felt good, hahhaha..morning therapy ey~~
Then continue singing till my house is clean enough..for now, lepas Amira and my mum balik..hmmm saya akan jadi bibik semula!

2pm lunch with family. My favourite. No matter I keep on trying to not eat lunch since I ate 2bungkus nasik lemak tiga segi every morning, once my mum “ Anna…jommm makann lunchhhh!”, automatically, akan berselera!
Haish anna sudah berisi ye kawan2..and I saw most of my friends getting thinner and thinner!
I wonder if I should be worried…mmmmm fenomena org Malaysia makan sikit ke eh? Confuse2~~

3pm is masa bermesra2 with my cats. I have 7 now. Caring for 7cats, I would say, need passion and courage haaahhha macam kids plak! I have Pooch, Tulus, Dhanny, Darling, DingDing and Charlie. My mum selalu cakap, “ Anna, kalau bagik kucing dia makan, ibarat macam nak suap kucing dia!”
Yes, that is so true, sebab saya takut kucing saya tercekik tulang! So kucing saya akan makan makanan special everyday, hahaha nasik with boneless fish yg saya rebus, and a tinge of anchovy sauce, and also milk for their drink! Jadik, miow miow saya mmg sedap didukung kerana berat! Hhihihihi..
Abah tgh risau sebab Tulus mengandung lagi…saya cakap, kalau abah buang Tulus, saya nanges sampai basah baju!
Petua nenek kata, bagik kucing makan nasik gaul2 with ragi (yeast)…so mereka akan mandul..! owh my..macamana dengan hak hak kucing untuk beranak???

Malam saya siapkan dinner, serve dinner…kemas dapur, series rasa macam housewife pun ada…patutla, mmg boringgg dok rumah lama lama ni, especially when you are alone!
Hari2 saya tanya mama, surat SPA da sampai ke? Fuh macam tak pecaya saya tak sabar nak keje! Hihihihi…actually im longing for a splurge! Hhihihi..i wanna buy lots and lots of shoes..saya boley jadik gile bile pegi Vincci…erghh!

I just found out that my Fantasy Britney Spear’s perfume here, almost 250RM, aiyoo Ayuni..boleykah kamu bawak balik byk2 perfume tu untuk sayaaaaaa! Hihihi kat NZ 60NZD jer!

Encik Lebah’s sister, who I call, Kak Aida (Encik Lebah calls her Kak An, stands for Aidahanie), spent her 5years in Germany..(the country that I really wanna go for a long time now..sighh~~)..she also missed her life in Germany..
To my friends who are still in bumi Fernleaf, cherish the moments, enjoy every minute of it guys! You’ll miss it…
Everything is so different now…different but still, the only place I call my home..

dub dab dub dab saya sebab, nak lepas posting surgery kat Hospital Sibu ini, houseman kene buat 5 appendicectomy (pembedahan membuang appendix anda). 5kali, dari start sampai abes, conducted by YOU! aiyooo..saya sudahla mmg takut lebih sket bila operate2 orang ni!

Incredible. It was.
I never thought I would be that happy.
I never thought it’ll turn out to be that exciting.
Waiting for Encik Lebah to arrive at Melbourne airport..ive never been that impatient before!

I really wanted to be the first one~~ yela ingatkan saya akan ketar2, mmg ketar..tapi Encik Lebah macam confident betul…so membuatkan saya tak jadi nak ketarr2 hihihi..alhamdulillah I passed the interview~~
Now tgh tunggu surat SPA..
Cepatla SPA, now I feel like I wanna go to work, and actually work as a real doctor..insyaallah amin…
Hospital Sibu melambai2 ni..kalau tak dapat jgk Hospital Sibu ini, akan ku appeal sampai dapat ahaaha adoi mmg crazy nak ke Sibu nih!
Anyway, I’m so excited, dgr cerita2 Encik Lebah who already there for 3days!

1. No white coats
2. Friendly people
3. Kurang scary nurse2 dia
4. Working environment yg tenang
5. Houseman satu rumah sorg!!! Susah nak dpt ni, kalau kat peninsular Malaysia, kene share sampai satu bilik 3 org okay!

Hopefully everything will be okay..doakan murah rezeki, sihat..dapat la saya pegi ke Sibu..insyallah =) =)

Owh ye, interview dia 30-35minutes

The questions were easy the first part, describe yourself, why you wanna be a doctor, where do you wanna be placed.., pelik dia saya nak ke Sibu, dia cakap..owh ade satu calon tadi, dia from Sibu, tapi tanak balik Sibu hihihihi …mmgla, saya pun belum ade rasa nak balik Kelantan lagi hehhehe..
owh ye antara hospital2 yg ramai jgk houseman depress..ni dgr org2 kata la kan..termasukla Hospital Kota Bharu yer…Klang, HKL..uish..rasanya saya mmg tak sesuai keje kat semenanjung kerana tahap ketahanan mental kurang sikittttt..prone to menanges2 ehehehehe..

Pastu the doctor asked lots of questions about what do you wanna specialize, pasal H1N1, Pandemic Action Plan, compares to NZ, Australia.., Notifiable disease, tropical disease, management of dengue, chikugunya and etc.
Siap tanya pasal kementerian, menteri, timbalan, ketua pengarah…Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Haji Ismail bin Merican! Vision and mission KKM, ape aim, motto and how many hospitals in Malaysia..paperless hospital bla2.

Last2, “good luck Dr. Farhana..saya bangga anak melayu saya berjaya, dan pulang berkhidmat untuk warga Malaysia nih”..wah ketar saya okayyyyy!!! Terasa macam responsibility menggunung2 on my shoulders hhahaha poyo.

My parents cakap..ambik je kat Sibu…hmm tgh fikir, kalau sempat..i will try to find a decent sekolah memandu, kalau tak..dekat Sibu ajelar..!
Encik Lebah kata, tak kisah pun, anna tak bawak kereta first 2 years ni..yela quarters kat dalam jer..tgkla macamana nih~~! Unai da bawak kereta dahh! Jeles2..saya nak bawak Exora abah haahaha!

Baca entry2 Nuha..fuh takutnya skill driving Nuha ni semakin hebat ke semakin menakutkan hahahahaha…teringat saat2 berada di dalam kereta Nuha!!

This coming Friday, we gonna go and watch Angels and Demons~ yayyyyy..=) =)
I read the book fuh..about 2years ago i think, 3 years..maybe..
I remember the cryptex, but cannot recall other things! erghhh...

Day 3 in Christchurch..still gloomy..every single day..without fail..!
I feel the light betray me...the sunnn..goess downnnn...~~
Now i do feel like a vampire hihihi..living in this wet and cold place..hehehhe..
I finally realized something..
I forgot how to live in south island!
Arrived in Christchurch just with my cudroy jacket and flat shoes without socks, i would say it was pretty brave hahaha..or in denial! da lupa how sejuk is christchurch in May..hadoila Anna...!

Ive been in Wellington too long!
3years have made me forget how cold south island is in May!!!
I miss Christchurch's sunshine...
The last time i was here..(which was about a month ago!)..it is still warm..and so autumn..right now, i can picture whats coming~~ sigh~~ winterrrr..my last winter in New Zealand~~ Winter 2009

Just got back from Hamilton..
As usual, i never fail to leave at least one item behind..!
I left my handphone chargerr!!! erghh tensionnyerrr!

I spent my days here doing all sort of stuff!
Shopping, swimming, masuk kelas biotech, photography session bawah pokok, makan Naan and butter chicken kat Chartwell..dan macam macam lagi!

the last time i passed this airport, tak sempat amik pictures pun..thanks to the girls..yg hanta me dkt Hamilton Airport ni, semah and nana ponteng kelas tuu haaa..hihihi..

Kat Hamilton ni lah, saya makan budu, setelah bertahun2 tak makann!!!
Fuh jauh tu datang makan budu hihi, (gamba prove budu itu blurred la pulaaa)
And last night, i made my perantau version of Nasik Kerabu (haha boringnya pegi mana2 pun asyik masak nasik kerabu kurang lengkap nii jeeee!!)
Im glad they liked it!
Makan sampai tertido haha!

1. I will be placed in a hostel nnt keje housemann..huwaaa dah years and years ive been living in a proper house or apartment..acececece hahahaha, i cannot imagine my life without cooking...owh nooo....boley nanges hokayy!

2. People can recognize me from jauh lagi sebab my face akan shining shining hahahaha oily, shiny semua ade. panasss sungguhh!! Dahla saya macam kucing, tgn kaki semua sweaty2..uish uish..macamana saya mahu bekerja nih,,bagila dapat hospital cantikkkk, aminnn hehehe..

3. I am going to get chubbier, seperti kata Diana (my Hamilton friend =P aka Kawan Sab) breakfast nasik lemak, lunch nasik berlauk2, dinner nasik segala jenis nasikk!. Owh man, eating machine will get into trouble!

4. I am gonna miss Westfield shopping mall yg a lot smaller compares to our Mega Malls in Malaysia..fuh, saya boley sesat yer!

5. Certainly, i will miss my 24/7 laju macam berdesup punya internet ini yer..saya tak kisah dok di ceruk rantau, asalkan ade internet, saya rasa macam connected sket with the world~~

Half day at Waikato University~~ life as a Biotech student..
i would say pretty exciting..surrounded by green green grass and all sort of trees~~
Modern and student friendly..I love the lunch area..cantikk!!
I joined two lectures yesterday. One was about Detoxification and the other was about Genetic..
The good news is, i still remember about some of the weird syndromes and a bit of my third year biochemisty hehehe..
Nana and Asma jadik tour guide aka new classmates saya yesterday..and of course we had an autumn photography session in the heart of the Uni..=)

Dah lama tak rasa macam student Uni..
Last time about 3years agoo..
fuh lama tu..

Yesterday.
We went to The Base..quite impressive looking shopping mall..
Surprisingly, i only bought one thing..(since only Bendon Outlet that interests me!)
What happened to this shopaholic?
I guess, she just needs to see more of zero zero zero in her bank account! haha..
maybe because it was raining that time..killing the mood~~ (since when???)

Anyway, yes..it rains everyday here in Hamilton!
I had to disappoint Abu (a friend who is doing his elective in Hamilton) today, for not going to the city..because as he should already know, i am the most hopeless person for DIRECTIONS, TRANSPORT and TRAVELLING ALONE (except naik flight hehe)..you probably familiar with the term BASIC SKILL DEFICIENT ye abu! haha..i guess Encik Lebah cam terpaksa redha je eh hheheheh dengan disorder saya ini!

Laptop buat hal lagi!!!
Da two days..the monitor keeps on 'hidup tanak mati tak mau'..tapi jgnla matii wahai monitor, tunggu la saya balik Malaysia duluuuuuu!!

Leaving my roommate. My lovely roommate. Farah. I hope she will look after my baby Teddy Grover baik2 for me..for a week keh =)

I am now in Hamilton..=)
Flight to Hamilton felt like a roller coaster ride, but amazingly i was alright..alhamdulillah~~
Nuha wanted to see me got sick with motion sickness on the plane..but maybe sitting next to a married man (according to the ring..i saw) hheheehe..just saved me from nausea..yela malu la kannn!

Nana and Asma dtg amik me dkt Hamilton Airport..
Drove me back to Hamilton east..
Asma made Spaghetti Carbonara for me~~ =) =)
Eating machine pun makan banyak banyak hehehhe..gelak diorg, tekejut melihat betapa eating machine nya saya..=P

Friday nite..
We went out to the city..
City of Hamilton..hehehe..boley tahan, so many cafes and bars, as usual..=P

We went to central plaza ke ape nama mall ni, hehehe ade fashion show la pulak, Winter collection~~ wa wii..sungguh chicks!
I didnt buy anything..one coffee-coloured-babydoll dress dkt pagani was very pretty, but size 8 pagani was too big for me..sayang,that dress was adorableeeeee!
nanti carik kat welly, hehehe..

These girls are very into swimming..
so we spent about an hour dkt swimming department kat Rebel Sport..pilih gorgle and swimming cap!
They gonna drag me to swim sometime esok esok..owh no!!!!
Nnt kecoh hamilton swimming pool kerana saya sungguh panic in the water hehehe...maluu..

Thankiyu to Mr.A, because of you, i got to know these girls! And juga to Kak Syira yg dtg rumah kitorg dulu dkt Welly! Nana, Ira, Me and Asma photographer =)

Its very warm here in Hamilton..
but these girls seem to be complaining about chilly nights eventhough i still wear my usual attire nak tdo without kesejukan pun..(mm..all my food tgh burning inside kot, keeping me warm hehehe)

I had no idea what to put in the title..
Suddenly my favourite ad, popped out on TV..
I wonder..what its like to be under coffee spell..
If not because of it's magic particle that triggers my migraine, i definitely have high potential to become a coffee-addicts..just like everyone around me! haha..
Lynn (Azza's sister) cannot imagine my life without chocolate..(yes, chocolate people~~ haha..this thing also a big NO NO for me. No chocolate no migraine..!). I actually cannot imagine my life with chocolate..i would be a lot chubbier than now!!! hahahaha..dahla eating machine, kalau tambah chocolate lagi, tatau la kan!!
Tapi saya selalu curik2 makan hihi Azza selalu bising2 kalau saya curik makan cokelet hihi =P

I feel like ive been everywhere since i arrived here..last monday. with Unai.

Day 1
New Brighton beach..tempat yg saya sgt suka, tgk dalam gamba je before sebab tak pernah sempat sampai sini!

Cathedral Square..Unai and I were like tourists. Masuk dalam church tu, sgt detail this church punya design! Pun tak penah masuk tempat ni =P

Ayam masak unai! Sedap sgt sgt. Unai pun telah memperturunkan resepi ayam masak unai kepada saya..harap2 taste the samee nnt hhehehe

Sesi bergembira bersama azza, Unai,cikhens, Lynn (adik Azza) and nama! We went to Botanical garden, and lompat sana sini, ambik gamba celah celah pokok and sebagainya hahaaha, sampai org2 dkt taman tu pun takboley nak baca buku...cannot resist nak tgk tourist2 iaitu us, tgh bergamba dgn bestnya!

Tapi banyak jgk mereka membeli belah! hehehe saya beli butterfly punya ringggg~~~ lovee itttttttt so muchh =) =)

Anyway, Unai ckp dia pun marathon puasa jugak. Sebab kami, sama2 pokai hihihi..

TODAY
11am: Finally up! (Anna's everyday life now starts at Malaysian time =P)
Reflex terus on desktop Zen..i am missing my Acey (my laptop) which is now with Zen in Palmy North! Zen balik this weekend, yayyy!

11.10am: Get-into-shape plan. haha. Hip Hop Abs; Last minute workout + Aerobics + Pilates. (Nuha kata exercises ni kene buat pagi2..tapi since saya bangun 11am, kire pagi la tu,Malaysia baru 6am!

11.45am: Bersiap2.. Kemas living room, basuh pinggan, basuh tong sampah hahaa..(tak penah buat ni masa kat apartment 12!) Teruskan marathon puasa..insyaallah a few more days lagi!

1pm: Washing machine time. Zen, saya basuh baju ye. hihihi bangga takk!! sungguh independent sekarang! (actually, Encik Lebah risau saya tak reti basuh baju uish uish uish hehehe)

2pm: Gantung gantung baju and lipat2 baju. Watched Notting Hill. It was my first time..haha. I remember my galfriends used to laugh at me, sbb tak penah tgk this famous movie..=P anyway, sungguh tak logik cerita ini..too good to be true maybeee!

4pm: Nak masak ape ni nak masak ape ni. Finally i can read books. YES. Book with pictures of food. What else! Cookbooks especially my birthday present last year tu, a cookbook titled KITCHEN. Fascinating!

Anna is a cooking monster...hahaha..an eating machine who is mad about cooking!

She finds these cooking books very intriguing these days!

4.30pm: Still undecisive..Watched Anthony Bourdain- No reservation..my favourite travel TV show..Zen pun!

5.30pm: Can feel sedikit kelaparan..i should distract myself. So i did. I decided to make Daging Merah for dinner..makan dgn nasik putih panas..yummyy~~

Bukak puasa..alhamdulillah..berjaya puasa hari ni =)

7.30pm: Hell's Kitchen show. Very stressful TV programme to watch. I used to get stressed out with how nasty Chef Ramsay treat the participants..but ive been testing my stress management..haha, now i just dont feel a thing..Impressed with Chef Ramsay punya skills in cooking..but the words that came out his mouth..not so impressed with that..

8.30pm: Ladder 49. Farah suruh saya tgk cerita ni. About firefighters gambling their lives saving people..Farah tak cakap hero dia mati..huhu sedeh saya..sikit lagi mahu nanges yeee! Fire is one of my fears..

Nuha pernah tanya about my fears..except Him, The Merciful~~

1. Snake (whenever i type this, it sends shiver thru to my spine!) Anything that can look and sound like it..whoa..

2. Water. Yes. I spent my childhood with fishing and experienced near-drowning situations. Still afraid of water. I love beach, oceans...but when its dark..everything looks angry..and dangerous. I had zillion nightmares about drowning, tsunami..(i think ive been watching too much National Geographic on Natural Disasters of the world!)

3. Fire. I can get very obsessed with car engine, weird sounds when driving..all i could think of flames, and fire! Car with radiator problems really give me palpitations!

4. Man. This used to be my biggest fear. I used to think MEN ARE ALL LIARS. the weirdest creature on earth. I used to literally run away. RUN. when a guy approaches me. I think of them as monsters. HAIRY MONSTERS. hihihi..It took years to actually believe in one of them..Encik Lebah of course..=)

12pm midnight: Checking Air New Zealand; grab a seat. Nothing's interesting. No interesting destination. Grab a seat is my internet homepage...That tells you enough about me!

1am: Eyes still wide open. Sugar high as always. Ade org bid buku saya dekat trademe..weeheeee...come on people, bid pleasee! hahaha..poket kering ye..kene carik sumber pendapatan =P

Zen balik,yay zen balik!
Zen nnt dikau balik, saya akan masak ye, sedap sedap untuk kamuuu..haha kekurangan iron eh sekarang..!
Unai will fly from Christchurch this Thursday..yeeehaa..jom pegi tgk The boy in striped pyjamas!!! (walaupun Nuha emo tanak pegi mana2, tp harap2 Unai akan heret Nuha keluar jugak!)

Tonight,dia asik masuk2 dalam bilik Zen ni, pastu letak tangan dia kat belakang, like she was holding something to takutkan meeeee!!

1. Rajin masuk dapur and membantu, atau presence dkt dapur, tgk je pun okay daripada dok tgk TV hehehe
2. Kene jgn belagak and cautious..jgn sesuka hati buat ape2.macam rumah sendiri.sbb selalunya kakak2 adik2 ipar and mak ayah mertua akan memerhatikan and comment..hmm susah tu..
3. Selalunya menantu perempuan akan dicompare oleh semua semua la..hmmm..susah nak jadi perfect, tapi..at least try jadi better...
4. Teh pula telah menasihatkan saya untuk share workloads with husband, nnt bergaduh2 sebab sape nak buat tu sape nak buat nih..
5. If its possible, jgnla susahkan mak ayah or mertua jaga our own children..nnt tak bagus untuk child development (bak kata saya dan Nuha dan Jenny)

dan banyak lagii..Nuha siap cakap.."ha Anna. ni kau kene tau nih.." " ha Anna..ni aku nak bgtau ni...".."Ha Anna..kau jangan.." fuh fuh...heavy..very heavy mannn...

A lot of julienne'ing..the capsicum, red chillies, onions, garlic, lemon grass..tomato..

Marathon puasa saya went well today alhamdulillahh..=)

Ikan 3rasa,taste like ikan 3 rasa, tetapi ikan hancur ye sedikit hahha..maybe:
1. Non-stick pan yg telah menjadi sticky pan!
2. Api yg tak cukup panas, ini theory Farah
3. Atau Anna mmg tak pass goreng ikan!
haha yg number 3 tu more likely!
My mum ade bagi petua, kalau mahu goreng ikan tapi tanak minyak meletup2,letak asam gelugur dalam minyak tu, mesti minyak tu tak meletup!

Now, Zifa is an engineer in Bintulu, Sarawak, so nampaknya kitorg akan insyaallah ke Sarawak la for reunion! hehehe...

My second week of "doing nothing". Gosh it feels like months already!
Lingering around the corner of Farah's bed..Farah's desktop, Zen's and Nuha's room..
Seeing my stetoscope hanging on Farah's notice board..whoa i am feeling so very tired!
Cannot believe i am over med school now..but whats ahead is much more challenging..no doubt about that..
I do like medicine now..i was loath to admit that i like medicine years ago since i am a die-hard-engineer-wanna-be..but now, i can feel a tinge of excitement in pursuing career in medicine..but i am obviously still into physics..(walaupun sgt slow with formulations! ahaha) but i am still the one who sat in front of the telly for hours watching Megastructures, how they build Skywalk in Great Canyon, how flights can land on the warship,how people invented elevator, ancient history of Rome, Italy and the Great Wall of China!

Of course this would magically disappeared as you spend hours watching Discovery Channel and Travel&Living!!

Passion in cooking. I wanna be a good cook.
The kind that cooks delicious pretty-looking food!haha..it takes time of course..but ill get there! insyaallah
Credit to my cikgu cikgu masak; Miss Azalea Khairuddin who is now in Christchurch and Puan Teh Arfah Zakaria who is now living happily with her husband Mr. Faris and their son Faliqh Daniel!
Without this two cikgu, i wont be able to masak like now..fuh one criteria of becoming independent! Tick Tick!

hahaha Farah, you will see!! Its very rural i bet ya! You will doubt there's a village at the end of the "jungle" hihihi!
But i am very proud of that.

Doing nothing had driven me to go merayap dekat town alone!
haha rasa macam dekat Wanganui je except 10times bigger hehee.
Jumpa ramai org..hihi.
Maksudnya saya perlu independent ye, keluar sorg sorg, social sket hahaa. Ni dok rumah main SIMS. hmmmm..anak dah berpuluh2 dah dalam SIMS!
But semalam saya tido dekat Farah's bed again...hmmm malam ni kene independent, tido sorg! dekat katil Zen~~ macamana nih nak survive nih haihhh~~

Last night, i witnessed one of my "flatmates" threw out her years of memory with her ex..Every letters, every cards..every cds..everything..
She ripped everything into pieces before they all ended up in the big bin outside our apartment..
I can see its a tough thing to do..
Years of crush, happiness, love and friendship..
It all went out of the window..
There and then, she started a new book..=)

Who said it was easy..
Maybe easy for a guy..maybe not..
I still have those kind of letters and stuff..not from ex..because i dont have any ex..haha..(vice president single club kan..hihi) but i am not sure if i've already tossed them since it was not significant to me...
i wonder why they cant be friends..they just wanted something from you..and they dont even bother to at least become your friends..how selfish..!

Saya pun interrogate my "flatmates" tu about breaking up..whoa..it sounds very painful..
i then said to them...how long i will take to just burn all my picturess..huwaaa tanakkk...takutttttt!! hahahahah Anna is freaking out here..=P

Not a student anymore? Whoa, thats scary..
Alhamdullillah, i made it. 6years of medical school and i finally made it!
Alhamdulillah syukur..~~
Its a mixed feeling...Relieved, thankful, happy, excited, scared, palpitations..confused.
I dont wanna be a grown up..!

Its all about the consultation skills huh hihi betul ke rajin baca buku nihhhh!

My last day in Wanganui was ..emotionally overwhelming..
The doctors there were very excited about "leaving med school"..
Yeah, i bet they know how its like..
My last patient in GP consultation room. A 5year old boy with Otitis Media.
Dr. H said.." Youre very special patient today Thomas, you are the last patient Anna will see as a medical student!"
Whoa..i froze hahaha, but still managed to laugh~~

I remember those days..
Back in STF..
i said.."no way, theres no way i am going to be a doctor! Doctors takde life, tanak tanak!"
But now....i guess, it is written..alhamdulillah~~~
Siapa kata doctors takde life..ade, unless we choose tanak ade life..=)
I wanna be a cute lil doctor hihi~~

This place, the GPs are insanely into communication skills, so my room has webcam, where they record the consultations ive done with patients, and critique it..hahhaa..sempat lagi.

4weeks felt like 4months!
But the attachment was much fun for me..i definitely recommend it to other trainee interns!
the last week in Wanganui, ended up so fast!
Tak sempat tgk speed boat race dekat Wanganui river tu eh...hmmm..

Victoria Avenue, aka George St dekat Dunedin..tempat saya berjalan2 hari2 masa lunch and abes work..sunyi sepi town ni..

But very pretty. Flowers everywhere. Very clean town.
And the day nak balik Welly..Spot the dog sedeh..he went to me, suro me pat pat dia..sedeh pulak..Spot teman saya for 4weeks, hari2 tunggu depan my room dkt Backpackers tu...because i usually have food with me!!

Spot. Dont be sad.
Nanti i'll come and find you.
And see if you can still recognize my smell!!

Its good to be home. Back in windy Wellington..
where i cant use umbrella when it rains..hihi.

Finally back in Wellington.
A lot to write. but i have exams tomorrow!
4weeks in Wanganui. Ive learned a lot.travelled a lot.
Wanganui: tick, Taranaki: tick tick, Hamilton: tick tick tick.
Napier je tak sempat lagi.
Spent a night in Hamilton. With Kak Basyirah and the geng. Nana, Asma and Najwa.
Banyak betul cerita about Malaysia..
dah la saya innocent..pecaya je semua org..uish uish..

Finally...
Im still here in Wanganui~~
My GPs are all excited for me, finishing med school in 3days time..!
I should be the one yg more excited, but since i have to sit that last exam.. better not be excited until i passed!!!
Anyway, yesterday i walked to the lake. alone. it was very sunny.
I am going to miss Wanganui, ive been here for more than 3weeks now..macam alien, jalan sorg2 every petang, carik spot nak tgk ikan, itik, burung.
Main dgn Spot, the dog yg sgt manja...!
Curik main2 with miow miow jiran tepi backpackers ni..
Eating tuna for 3weeks, i lost 3kg man!!
Well, confirm akan gain balik, paling lama pun 4days, nnt balik Welly!!!
Although tak berjaya jadi independent, sbb balik welly everyweek, haha, tapi okayla tu, semi-independent!
Iyagh! go Anna go!

After 5days in Wanganui.
Eating only fish, tuna, fish and chips..squid rings..so unhealthyy!
4hours naik bus balik Welly for Waitangi day, motion sickness was successfully controlled dgn SeaLegs hehee..=P

Arrived in Drummond Street, monsterly hungry.
Makan 3pinggan. Zen gelak, ternganga, ha abes semua.
Si Anna kempunan nasik 5hari!!
Thats how she's like when she is super duper hungry hahaha zen sorry kene witness eating machine makan!

Anyway,Wanganui is great. Burning hot."super quiet town"
For the 5days i was there, i am officially an alien in the town.
Keep on staring people, keep on staring! hihi.
I lurveee the GP practice there, it was fun! 6 friendly doctors and a bunch of nice people in the practice, awesome!
Next week, i am going to follow one of the doctors to a prison! gosh, im prone to be attacked. Nearly strangled in 4th year, was chased by a drunken man in 5th year and was attacked by a schizo in trainee intern year..!
Forget about that, medical stuff = so gonna start on Monday ends on Friday
Everything = so everyday..!

Zen and me walked to Yan's supermarket today.
Determined to buy lots of stuff.
I am going to cook Bihun soto tomorrow.
Malam ini, nasik kerabu lagi haha.
tapi Nuha makan macam saya. org yg tak jumpa nasik.

Yesterday.
I had my surgery exams. Killer exams.
I wont write about that.
I was restless and agitated the whole afternoon. Andrew was like, "we are going to make it Anna, 4 more weeks!" but i have a little doubt after that killer exams..ergh..
insyallah pass..tawakal la Anna~~

Noella then txt'ed me. Gosh she was just as anxious as myself, worrying about her psychiatric viva...i remember i struggled for that..i am sure Udeq knew exactly what im talking about!
Since we both had palpitations, we went straight to town, searching for a cure.

Manic Monday.
I struggled to get out of my bed this morning.
Ive been sleeping in Malaysia's time over the past two weeks.
Keeping my eyes open today, certainly was not easyyyyy!
I can feel i wasnt there.
I cannot even recall risk factors for DVT! What? What? What?
Sitting at the end of the row, definitely not helping at all!!
What can you see from this abdominal Xray and does it help with your diagnosis.
What? What? Stomach bubble? it looks like bubbles and bubbles to me. Could not focus. Ergh! Monday!

Still in holiday mood.

Holiday in Christchurch!
Absolutely marvelous!
I flew first time with Pacific Blue. Not bad. Reminds me of Air Asia.hihi.
Nuha was quite agitated with people waiting to get on our plane.
Once on plane, Nuha was still restless and annoyed with a kid sitting behind us, who kept talking on and on and on and on!!! hihi.But still. I had a good time watching clouds with Nuha..teringat masa kecik2 dulu. ingatkan boley baring atas cloud~~

My days in ED finally ended.
At least for this year!
Lots of head traumas today, reminds me of the coming weekend!
My 2weeks of ED was fantastic! Especially when i meet the new consultants from Canada.
They both talk like Talley O'Connor punya clinical examination book!
I can imagine me mengaja budak medic nnt2 macam tu hahahaha, day dreaming ke ni Anna~~

And then, went to check the pigeon hole at med school.
Ade a letter. Mula2 tgk nama, cam, eh sape punya lak ni, cam nak letak balik.
Baca lagi sekali barula, ehhh ni my name! hahaha, dah lama tak dgr my full name =P

"Dr.Nur Farhana" owh sungguh cam tak sesuai. lagi 2months plak tu,insyallah. belum layak lagiii!langsong! And and..buat IV cannulation pun tangan ketar2 lagi okayy hahahha, sungguh tidak sesuaii!!

Actually menakutkan okay.
Haritu nak suture 3cm laceration dkt kepala org pun ketar2. and tak berjaya.

Dear diary,

I reached home at 3.10pm.
After a very tiring day in ED.
I saw quite a range of patients today.
From a lady who was hit by a bus to a guy who suffered partial thickness burn after 8hours of sunbathing!
Ethusiastic registrars and happy chirpy looking consultants made my day~~
At least, i walked home, smiling ..=)

My latest obsession is Paddle Pop Rainbow Ice cream~~
Ive eaten two today. So not me.
I realized now,ice cream does make one a little sugar high, and lightened!
Ade 6btg ice cream dlm my freezer, thanks to Nuha sbb bagik saya ice cream~~
Sekarang da tinggal satu je lagi!

I think i am missing my old apartment 12..
Melly, i am missing you so much,
Esok kawan Nuha dtg from Auckland, Nuha pun akan pegi dkt kawan dia, and lupakan sayaa dekat rumah ni sorg sorg...huuhuhu..wani nak pegi Wanganui..

I just heard the bad news from Naj..

Simba's gone. Simba died 3days ago...

huhu...

Simba..Naj's golden orange cat..

I named him Simba..because he looks like a lion..baby lion..

I remember holding Simba and carry him around..

He was a chubby cat..cute.almost like garfield..

He must have eaten something poisonous..huhu..

To Simba, you were such a good cat..teman Naj everyday, welcome me when i came to visit and kiss kiss you...and you know what, Naj loves you so much..im sure you know..

Today, its good bye for Mel. I think im in denial..

I could not believe this is really happening..

Mel,

the first time you met me, i dont even know how to use the can opener.

Now, i can go to Hutt Hospital or any attachment in Wellington by myself, except that i still dont know how to use the can opener..

You were there, Udeq was there. for 6years..watching me growing up. Very slowly i would say..

Thru tears and laughter...

I am going to miss you guys heaps and heaps...huhuhuhu..i am still crying...:(

But i am very thankful..to have En.Lebah, Nuha and Wani ...around me..it could have been worse than this..

The last time i've cried an ocean of tears was in KLIA, 3months ago..

Day one.

I feel empty.

With an empty house.

huhu..

Zen's room. Mel's room. semua room. huhuhu...

I feel like, like a girl, missing her favourite blanket.

Or like 7-year-old me, missing her 'giraffe' (my only soft toy at that time..).

So i tried to cheer myself up. Try to watch TV. Not working.

Tried to watch Butterfly Effect, ended up sleeping. for good 2hours!!

Penat encik lebah pujuk saya..saya rasa encik lebah mesti akan buat concert free untuk bagi saya happy semula..huhuhu..

If Udeq's mum is still here, i know she would cook a very finger-licking-good dinner~~

Or if Mel's mum could cook her famous dish, that would make me the official 'ular sawa' in da house..eyyy sebut perkataan 'ular' pun rasa macam terbayang bayangggg....erghhhh!

Last last. Ended up cooking bujang bujang je. Squid Sambal and Telur mata kerbau~~ Lama tak makan telur goreng nih..

Bila makan telur goreng je, sure teringat Udeq. Sebab i can tell you. She is a fond of every masakan yg letak telur. hihi. Especially Mel's famous Beef Stragani?? I cant spell la Udeq haha!

Last weekend.
Mak Udeq datang. Gosh i miss my mum!

Zen, Wani, Anna and Udeq's mummy! Do we all look like we are in the same age! awet muda la mak Udeq ni, aunty, ape rahsia nyeee hehehe

Wharf and Botanical garden, again, the only places that we can think of to bring Udeq's mum sightseeing! Turned out to be an awesome evening~~ hihi.

Udeq's mum went crazy when we walked in the rose garden. Can tell that she is a flowermania! hihi. I love flowers. They just too pretty to not look to~~

Summer in the Rose Garden..feels so flowery right now hihi. I am going to miss all this.....i truly will~~

3years ago we were stuck in newtown Motel, cried when flat hunting. with no help except Nash, N and Murni. 2years in a row we enjoyed our time together in this apartment, full with laughter and food!!! Its not good bye..its only See You Later...

Since I have not kluar from my apartment except to hospital, let me just put apartment 12 punya recent menu for dinner.
Actually, we ran out of things to cook.
Actually we ran out of ideas.
I could use my birthday present. the cook book. but the ingredients are not student friendly.
hihi excuse ke ni??

Anyway this is "Nasi Beriani Perantau"
Just a plain simple recipe.
Not bad la. Im not a fan of nasik beriani. But try la in case nnt you guys datang rumah request nasik beriani ke hahahaha.

Owh i love this one
Hmm mmg meat eater nihh.
This is just a classic and simple " Daging masak merah" or "Daging masak sambal" with spring onions and coriander on top.

And this one.
A "Thailand inspired, Sweet sour ayam"
Should kurangkan the oil. Not good yeah for health~~~
Tapi wani suka ni, kuah minyak hihihi.
Mixture of thick tomato sauce, soy sauce, capsicum, lemon grass, fish oil, fried shallot and coriander on top!
I love coriander.
Susah nak carik sbb jauhla nak jalan pegi Yan's supermarkett!

p.s: Menu lunch tomorrow maybe "Pad Thai". depends pukul berapa saya bangun hihihi.

Masa the night, ayuni sampai Wellington from Gold Coast tu, rupanya dia telah di accompanied by Unai, Cikhens dan een yg intended to surprise us cuma kurang jadi sebab kehebatan unofficial informer kami hehehehe. Dari Wellington pun ade antenna ye.

Anyway, bukak2 pintu, bergegar Drummond Street Apartments dgr suara reflex menjerit kitorg hihii " Cikhensssssssssssss!!!!! Unaiii!!!! EEENnnnnnn!!!!" sampai ayuni pun merajuk okay sbb tak excited dgn kepulangan dia dari Gold Coast...alalalala..mana ada tak excited, kami rindu kau zennn hehehhe.

Dear Zen,

Its been almost 4days since youve gone to Gold Coast, leaving me and Nuha behind. Deadly bored. We are so dont know what to do, until we try so hard to kacau each other every single minute. sampai nak tido pun kacau nuha lagi okayyy!!!!

Ape yg kitorg buat ye, since youve been gone..hmmm..

Saya and Nuha telah bersenang lenang di rumah, sampai jam kitorg telah bertukar kepada waktu Malaysia. Bermakna kami bangun pukul 7 waktu Malaysia hehehehe..kirela sendiri eh zen =P

Tapi kitorg telah makan byk benda termasuk laksa and Nasik Beriyani. tp tu pun home made haha tak makan luar pun okayyyy!!
Well, we heard something from our unofficial informer, about ade org nak buat surprise visit ke Wellington..siape tu zen,adekah kau tau?? heheheh..takpe2,nnt aku tanya informer jauh ni. =P

anyway, sedehla cikhens tanak dtg eh, sampai hatimu cikhens.

Untuk Zen, Nuha dan diriku sungguh bosan Zen. kitorg sampai borak pasal org2 SIMS. tp harini sungguh excited. I feel ALIVE!!! hahaha selepas kitorg berjalan2 selama berjam2 dkt Botanical Garden today, pastu pegi wharf, pegi oriental Bay, and makan sushi enjoying the sun..tapi Nuha je la sun-bathing!!

I went to the TI dinner last night with Udeq. Mel is in Auckland rite now, diving competition!

Dinner was held at Te Papa Museum. It was superb!

Almost all of us were there, except Andrew, who is on his way to Korea to propose to her girl =P and a few who are on their honeymoon!
I gotta say the food was quite...erm..so so..haha it was because i was suddenly a vegetarian that night!

It was fun seeing everybody dressed up pretty and sparkle!

Gosh im so jealous with her gorgeous red dress! and flower clipped to her hair! hihi Sasmira was my roomate for 2weeks haha. We went to Rotorua together for Paeds community attachment! It was a "heaven" of fun since neither me nor Sasmira, was keen to even go to the hospital!!!

Never say never

One used to say to me .." never say never. Because 'never' is a very long time". Now i realized that it is true. A few 'never's in the last 10 years. When i was 17, the time when i was madly obsessed about becoming an engineer, i said to some of my close friends back in STF..about medicine and doctors. I bet if you guys read this, you'll gonna say "owh yeah, she definitely did say this!". I said.."I will never choose to become a doctor, i will never want to be a doctor, i will never consider doctor as my future job, because i wont have a life if i choose that job!"

Masa dapat offer letter medical school and all that, i was .."owh my god..biar benar Anna". Terngiang2 kata2 "never" masa form 5 tu..

Pastu masa dtg Wellington in 2003 and 2005, i said to the gals, "this is my last time coming to Wellington. Wellington will not be my place for clinical years. I rather choose Christchurch instead"..hmm sekali, dah masuk 3 years dok kat Welly. And enjoying it still!!

We cannot ever foresee the future, can we..=)

Kegembiraan di Wellington Zoo, 2005. Wah time flies. (saya tidak dapat pegi join Zen pegi Zoo with Nuha few days ago..jadi letakla gamba 3thn lepas!!)

Birdie. Eh glamer la pulak si penjaga zoo ni ye hehehe. Tudung sungguh besar, terbang2 okayyy!

3tahun yg lepas. Sila lihat Ayuni a.k.a Zen! Sungguh muda ayuni ketika ini!! Sekarang bukanla tua, cuma ber pengalaman sahaja! hehehe..Wani pun sungguh muda masa nih, wah kite dah grown up ke kawan kawan??

Hmmm..rasa macam takkan jumpa org yg saya akan suka betul2 and akhirnya jumpa Encik Lebah..hihi..sila excuse ye, ehehehhe today anniversary saya dgn encik lebah 3years...hihi. Encik Lebah, 10th November kan, saya ingat saya ingattt!! hihi. Never thought that i made it this far. Walaupun Encik Lebah maybe sungguh pening dgn saya hihi..thankiyu Encik Lebah~~~ for everything =)

Udeq tgh kemas2 barang dah, nak balik Malaysia beberapa minggu saje lagi.Huwaaa.

Macam baru je sampai sini. Macam baru je kenal dgn Zen. Zen skarang dah ayu. Semakin ayu. hihi miow miow. Senyum semakin manis ye kawan kawan!

Ni ialah saya and Zen, masa international parade 2005. Kitorg parade semata2 nak tunjuk baju traditional di tengah2 winter di Dunedin. wah hihi. Kebal ye zen!

~~ Kesimpulannya, never is a very very long time...takut dah nak cakap never. tp saya nak cakap " saya takkan berjaya basuh baju, basuh toilet, basuh bathroom berkilat2!" supaya nnt2 korg dtg rumah, tekejuttt tuuuuu, sinaran sampai luar rumahhh hehehehe...

p.s Sometimes we are just too selfish to think about people around us, but just wait.. when we stumble, and fall..we shall realize how thankful we should be, to be surrounded by these amazing friends..=)

I woke up today. Very late of course. Since Nuha and me spent the few hours of our very early morning watching cooking show on TV. how random. Nuha and Zen slept early last night after that hard out exams. 10 stations of random presentation of any disease you could think of in medicine with 2-4 people watching you the entire time! (yet it still appears to be not so "susah" according to some people!) who never actually sit that kinda exam. Irony.=P

Anyway, i pray for Nuha, Zen, Wani, Cikhens, and all..insyaallah dapat yg terbaik, aminnn..=)

Tibe2 rindu rumah. I know whyyy!!! sbb Farah balik Malaysia.dia tengah bersenang lenang di Malaysia makan roti canai!!! bersiap sediala tu kan, miow miow.hihihi pegi kedai pengantin ke Cik Farah? hehehhehe just kidding =P Last time, my cuti2 Malaysia was absolutely fantastic! Everybody's married hahaha and pregnant and having babies. Wah they are now entering new phase of life. Hmm..guna washing machine pun tak reti,macamana la nak masuk new phase hahaha.
